Pasteurised Manure Blend Substrate

Not all mushrooms are made for coir. Dung-loving and tropical species — thrive in a richer, more nutrient-dense environment that mimics their natural substrate. Our Manure Blend is a 50/50 mix of pasteurised manure and CVG (Coco Coir, Vermiculite, Gypsum), hydrated to field capacity and pasteurised under cleanroom conditions before sealing.

The manure provides the dense nutritional profile these species need to colonise aggressively and pin reliably, while the CVG component maintains moisture retention, keeps the substrate airy, and buffers against contamination. The result is a bulk substrate that's ready to use straight out of the bag — no additional prep, no rehydrating, no guesswork.

Simply break open and mix with your fully colonised grain spawn at a 1:4 or 1:5 spawn-to-substrate ratio, pack into your monotub, and you're done.
